Such a unique and gorgeous piece! Appears to be Southern Polish in origin, we’re just enamored. Black velvet lace up dirndl style top with the most ornate floral folk embellishment. A wildflower garden in sequins and seed beads covers the front and back in jewel tones, with honey, rose, and taupe rick rack trim and a crimson velvet ribbon tie up the front. With wide tank straps, an adorable petal-like scalloped hem, and a sweeping scooped neckline, this adjustable corset-style top is fitted through the bust and ribcage and can be worn open, closed, or backwards. Try it on its on or over a sheer fitted top or crisp button down. No labels, appears circa 1950s/60s.
