Fit Guide

Buying clothing online can be tricky, especially with one of a kind vintage, in a variety of fabrics from a plethora of designers. We're here to help you through that process.

Every garment listed on OMNIA has comprehensive measurements and notes on fabric and fit. Garments are measured laying flat, and doubled at the bust, waist, hip and hem. The shoulder is measured seam to seam, and will be noted if it's dropped or loose. The hip measurement falls 9" below the natural waist and will usually be the widest point between the waist and the thigh. If you have questions or need more information on a piece, please contact us!

*Hot tip* measure a garment you already own that's a similar style, to compare sizing. This is the easiest way to check how a piece will fit! Make sure the fabric is somewhat similar and not bunched when laid flat.

To measure yourself, use a soft flexible measuring tape to wrap around your body. Remember to leave a little room for ease.

Sizing is such a mixed bag, so there is no exact standard, but here's a rough guide of what we use for measurements and sizing. Keep in mind that a lot of our sizes fall in-between, and will be noted as such. Many times this means there is wiggle room, a free fit design, or a more fitted top/bottom, allowing for a range of sizes. Since it's such a variety, the most surefire way to shop for vintage is to be familiar with your measurements and to ask questions as needed!
