The bag is really roomy, big enough for a towel, magazine, lunch and caftan for your hooky beach day ;) Label reads: Handcrafted in the Philippines for Bags By Whidley, Inc. of Adel, GA. Circa late 1970s/early 1980s.
 
• 16" wide, 12" high, 5" depth, 4.5" strap drop 
• Raffia, wood
• Turnlock closure
• Excellent condition, mild watermark on back of strap (see pic), otherwise flawless
