1950s Ivy Plaid Silk Button Dress XS

Ladylike and very polished vintage 1950s mossy green taffeta dress in a silken fine plaid weave and many intriguing details. The classic fit and flare cut features hidden side pockets, sporty pleat on the bodice, chunky green buttons trailing collar, cuffed short sleeves and a voluminous flared hemline. From label Carlye, very well made, circa 1950s.

• Feels like silk, possibly rayon, crisp lightweight weave with structured drape and very slight sheen
• Unlined, mostly opaque 
• Buttons all the way down, metal side zip with hooks
• Great condition, minimal overall age to the fabric, bottom button is missing (hole is stitched up)
